Two words: frozen margaritas.
In our eternal quest to make the most delicious mixed drinks possible, we came up with this recipe over the summer and were quite pleased with the results. Now that we’re well into winter and there’s the distinct possibility of being snowed in tomorrow (again), we figured it was time to break out the blender and, much like with our coconut sorbet, remind ourselves of warmer days.
The berry syrup used to flavor the margaritas takes a little extra time and effort (maybe about 15 minutes, so really not even that much), but homemade syrup with fresh berries is way better than any store-bought version. Otherwise, this is pretty much just your standard margarita blended with ice. Enjoy!
